World Book Day costume - poetry or nursery rhyme themed

Hello,
I just got an email from my sons school today to say his costume needs to be relayed to a nursery rhyme or poem (scuppered my plan of Mr Tickle!)
Do you think a Julia Donaldson book character would classify as poetry as they're all rhyming? Failing that we have a dragon costume, can anyone suggest any poems or nursery rhymes with a dragon in? I can't think of anything off the top of my head
Thank you for any advice x

Google says there's a nursery rhyme called 5 little dragons. I'm bloody minded though so I would probably stick with Mr Tickle seeing as its world BOOK day and the whole forced dressing up is an absolute pain in the arse especially for kids that hate it (not bitter or anything)

Yes I agree with you! I do enjoy making costumes when I can but they should keep it simple and optional

U A Fanthorpe "Not My Best Side" is a brilliant poem about the dragon in St George & the dragon story complaining about how the artist Uccello portrayed him in his famous painting. Tell them to stick that in their pipe & smoke it.

Isn't there a Julia Donaldson book that rhymes called Zog about a dragon?

I should've added...if it rhymes, it's a poem as far as im concerned.
