Too late to move to Shrewsbury house mid year 4?

We are looking to move our son from a private school to SH but it will be mid year 4.
Is this too late?
We live far away and are moving to the area, so we have a few options but like SH so far.

He is very quiet and reasonably smart.

We don't know if he will get in yet but unsure if it will suit him. He is currently in a very small nurturing school, not academic at all.

@honestcookie , have you spoken to the school? They are the only people who can tell you if there is space. Luckily for you there are many other prep schools in the area and some will have space, just ask if you want other suggestions.

My son is in Y3 at SH. Although it’s is more common place to move at the beginning of academic years, it is not so unusual to move at the beginning of term mid-year. You should ask to speak to the head of Y4 and Mrs Hubbard who will be able to talk you through everything. Good luck!
