Looking for Leeds primary school guidance for in-year (year 1) admission

Hi,

I am really confused need advice regarding primary school for my daughter. She needs admission in year 1 as we are moving to Leeds specifically to Potternewton Lane, Meanwood, Leeds, LS7 2SF. The nearby schools are carr manor primary and Manor wood primary which I like but have no available place right now. The other one is Alder Tree Primary Academy but this is one has not good ofsted rating so I am not interested in this one.

Based on available places in school, I have found these three good schools. can you guys help me know which one is really good

1. Moor Allerton Hall Primary School
2. Primley Wood Primary School
3. Bramley Park Academy
4. Hawksworth Wood Primary School

I still want her to be in waiting list of carr manor primary and Manor wood primary so if you could guide which one of these two should be my first priority. I wish school to be diverse, with good after school clubs and focus on education of course.

I’m afraid I don’t know any of the schools so can’t help with which is ‘best’ other than to suggest you look around and see what you feel is the best fit for your daughter.

You can remain on the waiting list for both others and if a place comes available decide if you want to move her or not.
