Dear @Ritz3012 I wondered if you received any good suggestions for tutors for competitive schoolsm such as the ones you are looking into. If so, would be grateful for your suggestions, My DD is due to be doing exams for secondary schools though, but your suggestions may still come useful. Many thanks and wishing you all the best for your DS's upcoming preparations. Best wishes.

My daughter is in year 5 now preparing for 11+. I was keen to know how to prepare for top independent schools such as SPGS, City of London, NLCS. Can you please help me with few pointers resources for preparation will be very helpful. Also recommendations for creative writing tutors.

Dear @ChelseaK, I wondered if you had any luck with tutors... I actually didn't find anyone specifically for the schools of our interest (SPGS, Latymer Upper), we have someone local, and would still benefit from someone who has success in having students enter these schools. Many thanks, and wishing you all the best with your daughter's school entrance tests! Best wishes.

Hi,
I used I Tutor club to get my son into Haberdashers. He started receiving Tutoring in year 4 because he was falling behind a bit due to some changes in the school (a story for another time!)
The Tutor he used was great. He was retired primary school head teacher, who was able to give him lots of useful tips on how approach the entrance exam.
If you are still looking, I would certainly recommend giving the company a message to see if they have someone who has experience in SPGS entrance exams.

THank you so much @Rachel1212 for your suggestions, I will contact them. I have found someone for a brief stint at the moment, but your suggestion sounds good too. Best wishes!
