And so far I can't coax him out of it. Am I going too far in asking the teacher to talk him out of it? He is in reception.

how about an elf instead?

Why cant he goes as a fairy???? They are not old enough to pick on him for it. I dont see the problem, if you had a daughter and she wanted to go as a Bob the Builder say, you would let her

I think they are old enough to take the mickey. Would love to say sod it let him be a fairy but I know I would worry if it was my ds.

wildwoman · 29/02/2008 15:28

Let him - my nephew accompanied his mum in a dress and nailpolish to drop his dad off at big Intl airport...!!

It will just be something not to forget when he turns 21!!

wildwoman · 29/02/2008 15:32

but your nephew wouldn't have to see anyone from the airport everytime he went to school.

MaryAnnSingleton · 29/02/2008 15:32

let him !

MaryAnnSingleton · 29/02/2008 15:33

is he being a fairy related to a book though,like Flower Fairies ? (I always get cross if kids just dress up in any old thing,not related to a book ie. some just come in their football kit - though I suppose there might be a football book)

we had a Roald Dahl day...amazing how many "danny the champion of the world " there were!
