Where to buy Royal blue skirt / pinafore

My daughter starts school in September and so far I can't find anywhere other than uniform shops to buy Royal blue skirts.
I know high street shops haven't got their full ranges in just yet but wondered if anyone knew where might sell royal blue? Thanks!

I've seen royal blue sweatshirts in some places just no skirts

The school must have given you a supplier list?

I've never seen a high street shop sell school uniform skirts in other than black, grey or navy. I think you're going to have to resort to the internet.

It's worth asking other parents at the school where they get their uniform?

@tennissquare yes - the school uniform shop. Obviously it's more expensive than the high street shop/supermarkets so I was asking if anyone know of any that sell royal blue.

@redskytwonight ah, thanks. I did think that was possibly the case! I don't know any other parents yet but it's the school fete in a few weeks so I might be able to ask there or see if they are selling any uniform 2nd hand

It's a pain in the backside OP. And the uniform shops aren't always necessarily better quality either.

Amazon - it might not show, but there is a royal blue option.

Thanks, I hadn't checked Amazon but good to know as they are usually easy to return to.

Most uniform starts at age 3-4 some are 2-3 but my dd is diddy and smaller than that. Starting school nursery so I was hoping there would be a selection of styles in shops and I could choose which was going to be easier for me to alter.

Is it a private school? I ask because if it is then they tend to be a lot stricter on style I.e. you HAVE to have the official one from the school uniform shop (or second hand shop).

AnonAnom940 · 28/06/2023 08:32

No, not private. I've seen the kids wearing a couple of different pleated style.
It just seems to be uniform shops only rather than a supermarket option due to colour.

We have very recently sourced royal blue skorts for my DGD in M&S - I think they were on line only.

Thanks, they look really nice. Unfortunately her size is out of stock but I've set up a stock alert.
