My partner grew up on the Isle of Wight and has his whole family there, so we are moving from Cheltenham to the Isle of Wight with our 6 month old son and dog. I know thinking of schools is premature but I feel we need to consider this when deciding where to move to.
My partner went to Ryde Private when he was younger but this isn’t really something we can afford. I know the schools on the Island aren’t the best, but does anyone have any first hand experience of any that can recommend? I assume we would need to be in the catchment area and don’t want to be moving again in 4 years time so would like to buy somewhere near a school we would like our son to attend in future. No idea where to start really! Any insight is greatly appreciated :)
