Did you check out senior branch of school when applying to Highgate & UCS 7+?

Just that really. DS is sitting for both, I'm well aware he may not get a place at either but IF he is lucky enough to have a choice, I've realised that we have no idea what the senior schools are like! Junior schools both lovely esp Highgate but he'll only spend 4 years there and then 7 years in the senior branch which we've not even looked at! Is it standard to request a tour of the senior divisions? Did anyone else do this?

Yes we went to open days of both and that helped as very impressed with the head of one senior and very unimpressed with the head of the other

@spare123 was this Highgate and UCS? Would you be happy to share your thoughts, via DM if better? Many thanks!

I have the same question and adding City Junior School to the mix. Have toured all the junior schools but seen none of the senior schools!
