SE26 residents - St Barts or Kelvin Grove?

Hi all
We've just had an offer accepted on a house in Sydenham, and are keen to move quickly. DS is due to start reception this September so hopefully we can make the transfer in time.
St Barts is the closest school, but I've also heard good things about Kelvin Grove.
I've not had a chance to visit either yet, but keen for views on them both - both ofsted are good but I'm struggling to find any good local information.
Grateful for any insight!
Thanks in advance:-)

Have you posted on the local face book groups? I know parents with kids at both schools and they are all delighted. Kelvin grove is bigger, three form entry I think.

St Bart's is a religious school so that's a consideration too?

To add - There is an se23 mums Facebook group and an se26 community's facebook group that are worth joining if only to search old posts about the schools!

Welcome to the area, it's brilliant for families Smile

Thanks for the info - yes have posted on fb too for thoughts. Everything I've heard about both schools is really positive :-) Fingers crossed all goes well- can't wait to move to the area!
