Primary schools in Exmouth, Woodbury and Topsham

Hello! My daughter is starting reception in Sept 2022 and I’m struggling to choose a local primary school.

There is very little info available because of Covid (no recent Ofsted inspections or SATS results and hard to visit).

I’d be super grateful for any advice or recommendations from current parents of these primary schools: Woodbury CofE, Lady Seaward, Topsham, Marpool, Withycombe Raleigh, Exeter Road, Clyst st Mary.

We have to choose by the 16th Jan - eeek!

Depending on your catchment - Woodbury is over subscribed and difficult to get into. My advice is to go and have a look round. Most of the schools you mention - and others, such as The Beacon and Bassetts Farm - will happily do personal tours after school so you can get a feel for the place. You are spoilt for choice in this area though, each school has its pros and cons but none I would advise you to steer clear of.

Thanks Regina! I’m visiting as many as possible and so far all the schools seem to be well regarded by parents.

Where did you end up? We're looking at primary schools in this area so would appreciate your insight
