Which one is better for a boy in terms of nurturing environment not only for academics, but for a general development, including sports?

Think you mean Eaton square Belgravia? and do you mean Miss Daisy Belgravia? Eaton Square gets out of the building a LOT during the day and is very very active. Miss Daisy’s (if you mean the one off of Ebury Street), is on the lower ground floor with a small courtyard so maybe not a much space for games. From what I have heard the teachers at both are lovely and kind. Miss Daisy’s might be more focused on ‘academics’ as they have to get kids into primary schoo, whereas Eaton Square is connected to the main school so I assume many just continue on through.

No, I actually meant Eaton House Belgravia, not Eaton Square.

Hi julianp,

It would be helpful to understand which one did you go for.
Also, does anyone have experience with Young England and any comparison with EHB and Miss Daisy's would be helpful.

Thanks

We went to Miss Daisy Belgravia (old site, it has just moved around the corner) -- it was great and half the boys from our cohort are now at WUS.

We didn't personally use YE but had friends there at the same time and they enjoyed it at the time and are doing well now.

Between those 2 I recommend going to the one closer to home.

That's helpful, thank you!!
Given WUS starts at 7+, where did most of the boys from his cohort go between miss daisy's and WUS?

We went via GHS and others via Eaton House and Wetherby.

Things to consider since we were at Miss Daisy, is they are now owned by Dukes. This could introduce a bias towards Schools under Dukes like Knightsbridge and Eaton Square. The Miss Daisy founder used to work at GHS (in our year, 3 were offered places at GHS).

GHS is expanding the upper school and not as focused on 8+ exits as much as in the past (historically GHS sent a large chunk to Sussex House).

Saying that... in recent years Eaton House, Eaton Square, Wetherby etc. also try to retain going into prep school.

Helpful comments. It seems YE and Miss daisy's can be considered almost equally good.
Anyone has experience with Eaton House Belgravia nursery? Tyring to compare vs (young england or miss daisy's)?
