Read Write Inc - Any opinions of it from teachers or parents?

Just that really, has anyone taught it, is it any good? Do your children use it at school, are you happy with it?

don't know much about it but dd's school have just switched to it from 'poppat'

Does dd enjoy it? Do you think she is making any progress?

I think this is the one that everyone raves about on here, but they use the authors name to describe it.....and I can't think of it...

Ruth Miskin....search the archives for that I am sure you will find lots of positive stories about the scheme.

I have used the superphonics spelling book and we have the yelllow level readers. I think that Ruth Misken's materials are well written. In some ways it is clearer for the parents to follow than jolly phonics. It is good for people who hate the hand actions of jolly phonics.

However my son prefered jolly phonics.
