Schools near Finsbury Park: Parkwood or Stroud Green

I'd be really keen to hear from anyone with experience of Parkwood Primary School, Hackney. We'll probably put Ambler first (although they're not allowing visits cos of COVID so a bit of a shot in the dark) but we are right on the edge distance-wise and wondering whether to put Parkwood or Stroud Green second. We don't know anyone with kids at Parkwood so hoping someone could tell us about their child's experience of the school. Also keen for thoughts on Stroud Green - the poor new head started just as COVID kicked off so not much to go on. Thanks!

Hi @MumchJ - Stroud Green School parent here and happy to answer any questions you might have. We've been really happy there for 5 years now and it feels as if the school is on an upward trajectory with the new head and a very ethusiastic senior leadership team.
