Free Maths Classes for Kids of Low Income Families in Salford and Manchester

Hi all,

I'm starting a new project in Manchester/Salford running free Maths classes for children from very low income families who would otherwise not be able to afford extra tuition, including asylum seekers, refugees and families in receipt of benefits.

With seven years previous experience teaching and working with children, I think it's vital that children feel confident and empowered through education when they are young, helping to build a stronger foundation early on. The consistent news of underfunded and stretched schools which are low on resources in the area has prompted me to start this project.

If you or somebody you know could benefit from this, please get in touch on here or by emailing [email protected]. You can also find me on Facebook by searching 'Free Maths Classes for Kids Manchester'.

Thanks for reading,

Lizzie x

I may be wrong, but low income doesn't always mean need of an extra tuition?
People on benefits are eligible for extra funding of pupil premium, but those without yet no home help are the ones who need most help?
