Hi, just wondering if anyone can give any insight into the various independent primary schools in Birmingham. I have looked online, but am interested to hear from anyone who has had more direct experience. We would need a school that is accessible from south Birmingham.

Perhaps look at some of the solihull ones too

Which part of south Birmingham? Commuting to Barbone and Edgbaston is a bit of a headache... Particularly with all the works on Bristol road atm

Bloody autocorrect- that was Harborne! Barborne is considerably further from south Bham!

Well funnily enough, Kings Heath! :)
Good point about Solihull, hadn't thought of that. I had Egbaston in mind. We are fully expecting it to be a nightmare driving to school, but willing to look into it further...

We had also considered some sort of bike arrangement for good weather (through parks up into Edgbaston).

We did it for four years, and it nearly killed me. We live in walking distance now, and I would never repeat the experience, sorry!

Although the Private schools do seem to be gathered in a small cluster around Edgbaston!
I understand there are waiting lists though - take that into consideration when looking.
