Is there a date by which SATS results need to be given to families?

Yes, I know it shouldn't matter, and I thought I didn't care. But there's something about the fact that I know the school have known since Tuesday and we don't that is making me impatient!

I believe it’s the end of the summer term.

We give them out in the end of year reposts. I prepared them all on Friday and they will be sent home with the children on Monday.

I think heads have 15 school days grace before they have to send the results out so this year that will be the end of term for most.

We feel the same Chady. I'm quite irritated at the time it is taking. The kids all jumped through hoops.for the school, with breakfast clubs and after school sessions etc. It is annoying that the school have known since Tuesday and haven't shared the results with the children. It is so secretive we have started to wonder if they have all done badly!

Schools got the results last week (10th July) and will be checking results for errors and maki g appeals if necessary so 3 working days isn't a long time.

We as parents need to be patient. Data came out on Tuesday at 7:30 am. This year it is later than in past years. In the mist of this is every other end of Year activity. I assure you the SATs results is only one thing in a LONG list of things that need to be done before the end of play on this academic year.

We are all exhausted.

I'm not irritated (a few days makes no difference after all), I just wondered what my limits of patience needed to be. Clearly some schools do give them out the day they receive them.

We don't get ours till Monday 23rd and yr 6 are out at their adventure day out so probably won't get them until Tuesday 24th.
