Hmm
BaronessEllaSaturday · 26/06/2018 00:12

That's the sort of threat that would make my dd laugh but pay attention to.

Ned01 · 26/06/2018 08:52

Your dd will be a champion at school and in life Baroness I just know it! But will she buy one of our yoyos.

Lol, well that’s my son dead by yo-yo then and most of the year one kids atm.

Ned01 · 26/06/2018 12:39

Don't fear chicken as long as your son remembers to Never give up, Encourage others and Do your best, he and the rest of year one will be fine and dandy

Oh and buy one of our yoyos for sale all week outside the school office

Tomorrowillbeachicken · 26/06/2018 12:42

I would never trust ds6 with a yo-yo. He’d either knock out himself or someone else. God bless dyspraxia

Ned01 · 26/06/2018 12:50

Fear not chicken as long as he stays in the NED yoyo zone and follows the NED yoyo rules in fact he'll be more than fine he'll be a champion in school and in life if he just remembers to NEVER GIVE UP, ENCOURAGE OTHERS AND DO YOUR BEST, say it with me chicken NEVER GIVE UP, ENCOURAGE OTHERS AND DO YOUR BEST

What am I missing?

pitterpatterrain · 26/06/2018 16:39

My toddler DD2 is currently interpreting “never give up” as fight to the death over whichever piece of Lego she wants

She’s winning at life right? Completely school ready Grin

ignores that pesky sharing is caring idea

ProudThrilledHappy · 26/06/2018 16:42

Ds got sold a yoyo at school for an extortionate price that was supposed to always ‘come back up’.

It doesnt always go back up.

10 minutes of use and it went in the drawer.

They had a catchy never give up, jolly ho kind of slogan too.

Are you also trying to flog us overpriced yoyos op?

Tomorrowillbeachicken · 26/06/2018 16:50

Yes, seems to be the crappy yo-yo show that tours schools

Nuffaluff · 26/06/2018 16:53

Oh my god, they’re coming to us tomorrow!

ProudThrilledHappy · 26/06/2018 16:55

Get your wallet out Nuffaluff

Ned01 · 26/06/2018 21:55

pitterpatter your dd has learn the first rule hidden in my name and that makes me so happy, it really does. I just know shes going to be a champion in school and in life, I really do shes awesome and so are you in fact you all are, say it with me Mumsnet WE ARE AWESOME, say it to each other YOU ARE AWESOME. See what we did there we just encouraged others, thats another rule hidden in my name and theres a third too NEVER GIVE UP, say it with me pitterpatter NEVER GIVE UP. If your dd remembers these three rules she'll be a champion at school and in life, I just know it. But theres one more thing you need to do, buy a yoyo from me, we'll be selling them everyday this week outside the school office, buy one for your dd, buy one for all the children, they'll never have to fight over lego again they'll be champions at school and in life.

I give up.

Ned01 · 26/06/2018 22:16

Coffee I want you to put your hand in the air and say after me I COFFEE DECLARE THAT I WILL NEVER GIVE UP, I WILL ENCOURAGE OTHERS, I WILL DO MY BEST AND I WILL BUY AT LEAST ONE YOYO PLUS ACCESSORY OUTSIDE THE SCHOOL OFFICE AT SOME POINT IN THE NEXT WEEK. And the rest of us we need to encourage Coffee to be the champion in school and in life that we all know she can be. Mumsnet I want us all to look Coffee in the eye and say to heR Y0U ARE AWESOME

pitterpatterrain · 27/06/2018 11:03

Wonderful DD2 is feeling like a Star

Not sure about yo-yos. That seems a little risky. Or perhaps I need to ENCOURAGE OTHERS and step away from the risk that is a 1 year old with a yo-yo Grin

thankfully the yo-yo selling hasn’t come to us yet

UtterlyUnimaginativeUsername · 27/06/2018 11:08

Joins C&T on the giving up bench

I haven't got the energy for all those capital letters, it's too hot.

Ned01 · 27/06/2018 19:10

pitter I love your attitude, give the one year olds yoyos give all the children yoyo, give them holders too and other branded accessories NEVER GIVE UP

Utterly just remember its never too hot to be a champion at school and in life and its never too hot to buy a yoyo outside the office everyday this week. NEVER GIVE UP

I just read the thread title to dd and she did a massive eye roll. This is my kind of thread.

Ned01 · 27/06/2018 19:16

Your dd can turn that stinking attitude around Name just as long as she remembers the three rules hidden in my Name (see what I did there!) and remembers to buy a yoyo on sale every day this week outside the office. Yoyos roll much better than eyes doncha know!
