My 6 year old daughter has in the last few weeks decided she hates school. I couldn’t get to the bottom of her sudden change of heart and her teacher said there weren’t any problems, she just kept saying she didn’t want to go and she didn’t like it.
Anyway this afternoon she has told me that the reason she doesn’t like school is because a few weeks ago she witnessed another child being bullied (physical and name calling) and she’s now terrified it’s going to happen to her.
She’s never had any problems before and has a good group of friends.
How can I help her deal with this and learn to feel happy and safe at school again?
