I was very concerned about the behaviour of a child towards my own. I reported it to the school, the teacher dealt with it the next day (very impressed), child in question admitted it all and both myself and my DS were happy with the outcome. However, I have since heard through other parents that the parent of the child in question has been complaining that they weren’t informed straight away but that it only came up at parents night in terms of their behaviour and attitude having improved dramatically. I feel sorry for the teacher because he did such a good job at putting a stop to the behaviour. Should he have informed the parent even when the behaviour didn’t continue after his intervention? Should I make the teacher know how happy I am with how he handled it?
It’s a very small school and community where everyone knows everyone of that makes any difference!
