...two weeks before the sats. Three kids in year 6 have been sent home this morning, and as it's raining cats and dogs, they will have wet play and stay indoors, hence very possibly most kids will catch it. DS is at school, part of me want to put him in an isolation bubble until the sats.
The system is just so wrong. Say if 5 kids miss some of the exams, as we are just a single-form entry school, it would affect our results so badly. And I want the school to do well. And I want my DS to do well as they are streamed in secondary school based on their sats results. (insert another swear word here)
