Do schools in the south have inset days 2-3 May?

Just wondering how many schools have inset days before the may bank holiday

We don't, I'm in Surrey

Schools set their own inset days, so not sure what you will gain from some random responses! Presuming you mean the 3-4th May, some schools will be closed on 3rd May if they are used as polling stations. 4th May - no idea. (my DC's school is open, if that helps!)

We don't - ours is the Monday after the half term.

South London, and no but school closed on 3 May so expect attendance to be low on the 4th.

We're in NW and we have an INSET day on Thurs 3 May. Junior school isn't used as polling station but the infant school that feeds into the junior usually is, and the HT of the two schools liaise with regard to this, as some parents will have dc at both schools.

Nope (Surrey). Ours get tagged onto the beginning/end of the summer hols plus a couple at Oct and Feb half terms.

We do. We're down south. Interesting to know how busy the local attractions will be, as we are planning on going to one!
