Can anyone find me a cheap yellowy orangey floral dress for world book day?

DD wants to dress as Auntie Flip from Bad Dad for World Book Day. We thought it would be straight forward, basically a dress, glasses, maybe do something with her hair. I don't want to spend more than about £10 on a dress as she's unlikely to wear it again, but I can't find anything that looks similar. Is anyone better than me at searching? She normally wears age 10-11.

Don't suggest making my own as I've tried that before and failed miserably. Blush

No

That would work but it's more than I want to pay as she won't want to wear it again. If you could find similar for half the price that would be fab!

Just google yellow dress with flowers, I afraid I couldn’t find anything else but then again I didn’t look too carefully. Good luck.

Tesco have this one. They don't seem to go up to the size you want on the website but it may be worth a look if you have a local store?

Norestformrz I thought you'd cracked it then, that is perfect but sadly wouldn't be delivered until after world book day (unless I paid £47 delivery Shock).

Sorry that link is massive, this is nice but they've sold out so you'd have to go up a size.

You could buy a plain yellow dress and then draw flowers on using an orange sharpie or make a simple cardboard stencil of a flower and then sponge it on using fabric paint. There are loads of plain ones on Amazon or you could even try one of the yellow gingham school dresses.

TheDropBear good idea, I hadn't thought of drawing flowers on, I've found a plain yellow dress for £5 and some fabric paint so will give that a go!
