From what age do boys & girls have to have separate toilets??

In my DC's school, boys and girls share toilets in nursery, but have separate toilets from Reception (4 and up)
Not sure what age they have to have them though.

Same as Kid. They share in pre-school but have separate ones in Reception.

My dds school was separate from Nursery, my school still share at KS1 class
