Interesting thread. Mine don't do any PE at all until the summer term in reception. No idea about the older years. Hoping that the rest of their day is reasonably active.. Hmm

Mine have definitely done more pe as they've gone up through the school.

When mine were in reception they didn't do proper PE until after Xmas as the whole class couldn't manage to get changed/unchanged quick enough to start with. They did LOTS of informal exercise though eg bikes, activate, outdoor games, play/break time. They had PE weekly once it started properly but I felt they were getting plenty of exercise at school and at home.
I wish I could manage some exercise once a week!

Twice a week - one indoor, and one outdoor.

Twice a week. Often cancelled.

The whole school started doing the Daily Mile last year which was a big success - great idea. Wish I had that at school.

Once a week. All through the primary. Also swimming at year 3 and 4.

supposed to be twice a week - games outside one afternoon and then either swimming/gym/dance (rotation) 30 min slot 1 x week. In reality the swim/gym/dance happens 50% of the time.
