My daughter has been offered a lace at this school, can anyone tell me anything about the school? Are parents happy with this school?

This is an interesting one, because I have lived in the area for ages, I know people who've had kids at pretty much all the local primary school. But not this one.

No idea why that is, other than it's not a school that has been on the radar of m/c parents. Possibly because it's a church school, and most people who actively want church schools are pushy enough to wangle a place at the m/c ones like St Michael's in Highgate or St John's highbury, or Kentish Town CE. And those people who want a secular school will presumably avoid it because of the church connections, even though I think lots of families are not Christian or church-goers.

So I think you'll prob struggle to get insider info on here, you'll just need to go and see, and make your mind up whether you like it or not.

I know one family with a chil d there who really like it, but no more details than that. I've been to look round - the staff were really friendly and there was a good atmosphere- children were attentive and engaged with the lessons, and reception children having fun.
I'd welcome more views from people with dc there too though!

I went to look around last week and meet the head. The school is lovely with a nice playground in the middle. The head teacher has taught in many schools in Camden. He has been there 5 years and has made big changes. He was saying that they want ofstead to come in and do a inspection as the last one was when the old head was there. There has been so many positive changes and the children's sat results are better each year; he was sure the school would be outstanding now. He was very passionate about his work...
