Hi ladies,

We live in the Brentwood area and we have visited a few public primary schools in the area for our little boy who si due to join in 2017. (Our preference is no religious denomination). We went to Brentwood School, Herrington House, Widford Lodge, St Anne's and St Cedds. We are leaning towards Widford Lodge..

Does anyone have any opinions on any of these schools and where I could find a table of results? Hard to know which one is the best from an academic perspective. TIA. x

Where do you want your children to go for secondary? If it's KEGS or CCHS, I would ask about 11+ preparation/success. If it's Brentwood then there is something to be said for going to their prep.

FWIW, the children I know who've attended St Cedd's have been delightful and I have been impressed by the HM at Widford Lodge who seems to foster a family atmosphere in the school.
