Dyslexia friendly schools in Surrey/London

Hello fellow mums of dyslexic children!
I am considering moving my 7 year old son out of our local church school to an independent school in Twickenham which I understand to be dyslexia friendly - Radnor House. Has anyone any experience of the school? I am attracted to it as the inclusion policy and SEND provision looks like it will suit my son and I know he would benefit from a smaller class size. When I looked around yesterday I could imagine him fitting in beautifully. He struggles with working memory and speed deficit, but has a very high verbal IQ and is keen to learn. The discrepancy in scores is a problem for him. He needs a nurturing environment and at the moment, I feel as though he has been left far behind and has almost been written off. I thought the move from KS1 to 2 would be a good time to make that transition. His older sister will remain at the church school as she is very happy there and working to her ability. Any advice out there?

Hi there Linch15 - we're just going to pop this over to Primary Education as you'll likely get a much better response over there.

We'd also like to suggest you post on Mumsnet Local in Surrey - found here - where those with local knowledge can advise you.
