Is the first week after half term too early to be told which teacher your child will have in September or would you expect it nearer the beginning of July

Last day of term, and HT ensures they are unavailable after school. Stops angry parents complaining. After 6 weeks they have generally calmed down a bit!

We normally find out on the last day of term before the May half term. This year though we haven't heard yet, not sure why.

About 2 weeks before the end of term. I am a governor - we get details in a headteacher's report on a wednesday evening. I keep quiet about it overnight (no one knows I know Wink ). Children are told the following day, and parents get an email that afternoon.
