Book suggestions for independent KS1 readers (thought it might interest some)

I was just looking for book suggestions for my DD who is a pretty good reader, and I know that people often ask for recommendations for books which have suitable content for strong KS1 readers, so I just thought I'd share this list for anyone else who is interested.

KS1 independent readers suggestions

I hadn't heard of all of the titles, and was particularly interested to read about the Unicorn ones. I'd have dismissed them as rubbish (based on the title and the cover), but the amazon reviews actually aren't bad so I'm going to see if my DD wants to give them a go.

That list is actually pretty old and I think some of the books on there are out of print. I haven't seen the Waterstones guide they refer to for a very long time.
