Can anybody recommend a really good atlas that will see my ks2 kids into secondary.

I looked at the times world atlas, but seriously didn't know whether google earth was a better bet nowadays!

Kind of like a book as I know they'll look at it iykwim.They might not choose to look at maps on Googgle for leisure.

Want one they'd enjoy looking at,bright but informative. They seem either too simplistic or a bit dry.

Ds's school recommended the Phillips Modern School Atlas, which we bought before yr 7. We also have a Times large one in the house. He enjoys using both.

I got the National Geographic one a couple of years ago for Xmas. Me and DS(6) love it.
It's enormous and has some lovely maps of the planets and star charts at the back.
It's expensive but a proper book lovers book.
