hi everyone,
dd is yr3, always seemed to be fine about school, enjoys going, nice gang of friends. at parents evening yesterday her teacher told me that dd is being left out of her gang of friends as she has been argumentative and swearing Blush my heart broke for her - I was an "awkward" kid at school and hated it. in hindsight I can see that she hasn't been invited on as many playdates as usual the last few months.

I don't tolerate swearing and the odd occasion she has tried it at home she has been in big trouble.

I desperately want to help dd back on track with her friendships and feel so sad right now Sad Sad

top tips gratefully received.

what does your DD say is happening?

I would start by having a chat with her, ask her what she thinks is happening. Make it absolutely clear that swearing is unacceptable anywhere and that people won't want to takk to her if she swears or is unkind.
Then draw a line under it, see how it settles. Talk to the teacher again in a week or so.
