Wimbledon High (juniors and secondary) sound like great schools, I have several friends who went there and they all recommend it highly. I would love for my DD to get into the junior school, but I'm well aware of how difficult/unlikely that is.
I hope to apply for a place for my DD next year, but I know nothing about the 4+ process. Would anyone going through it this year be willing to share their experience with me?
Please note, this is NOT a thread about hothousing/tutoring, etc etc. I am already amazed that the 4+ exists at all, and I firmly believe that my DD would only be suited to the school if she is able to get in based on her own (untutored) abilities. (I'm not even convinced it would be possible to "tutor" a 3/4 yo in any helpful way!) Having said that, I would be happier if I knew what the process involved, so I can make sure my DD has at least come across the types of activities involved, at her nursery.
If anyone would be willing to discuss the process with me, while they're going through it this year, I would be extremely grateful for any PMs! Thanks!
