Pool-in-Wharfedale (Leeds) Church of England school - what's it like?

We're relocating to the Leeds area and have found a couple of houses we like the look of, one of which is in Pool-in Wharfedale, just outside Leeds. My dd is reception age so we really liked the fact that there's a school in the village. However the Ofsted isn't very impressive (requires improvement) and I'm not really that keen on the idea of a faith school. I know Ofsteds aren't everything though and faith schools can vary a lot in how prominent the religious element is (my daughter is at a CofE pre-school where the Christian message is very heavily drummed into them, including, for instance, very graphic descriptions of the torture Jesus suffered before he was crucified - something I found a bit unnecessary for 3 year olds to learn) I'd really value some first-hand opinions. Does anyone here have any experience of the school?
