i am in 4-18 independents school at the moment. Job came up in prep school where I can get my DC too. Just concerned 1) stability of prep co-ed school in comparison to my position at 4-18 independent school ( which I must say is a quite steady school) 2) getting DC there - will it be a good idea to be in the same school?

I will have more responsibility at prep school and if something goes wrong - might lose the job ( new employment law 2 years employer can give notice to the teacher without any particular reason...) You are right it either I take DC at 11 ( which prep school does not like because losing fees) and move to state or keep them till they are 13 and then worry what next... I just think if I shoudl take the opportunity and then worry later about secondary stage? it is 7 years before they go to secondary so lots of things can change...what do you think?
