Lack of sleep and busy weekend has left me with this evening to make a dog costume for 4yo ds' school play. I have a brown top and brown trousers, black tights to stuff (with what?) for a tail but how else can i make him look like a dog? I can do whiskers and dog jowls with eyeliner and pink nose with lipstick. I'm usually good at this stuff but too tired to think. Help please. ??

Baseball cap with ears attached and draw the eyes and nose on the hat and brim. Easy and effective

Stuff with more tights, socks or cotton wool

You could also stuff the tail with balled up newspapers or magazine pages so it it not too heavy. If you have spare tights, you could cut the feet off and attach them to the baseball cap for floppy ears. either sew or glue them on.

Thanks muddle. Good idea about using tights feet for floppy ears.
