If you live in or near London is your dcs class/school striking on Wed?

My dds teacher is one of only three in the school on strike on Wed.

I would really like to take advantage of having a term time day off and take her to the Natural History Museum. We have wanted to go for ages but the thought of the crowds at weekends and in school holidays puts me off. I also have dd2 who is 4.

So just wanted to see if I could try and gauge how widespread the strike is in the London area

North London. 2 dc schools totally closed.

Part closure here in south central London. Suspect it will be busier than a normal weekday but quieter than a weekend.

Matinee in the west end at popular musical!

Great seats without having to wait for months!

S London, 6 teachers out but school open for the other 11 classes.

About half the classes in DD's infant school are closed and all of the linked junior school.

AnneElliott · 22/03/2014 21:16

SE London and only 2 classes are on strike. 12 classes in the whole school.

Outer London borough, whole Primary shut - 14 classes whole school. We were thinking about a day out in London too, but had thought the NHM might be a nightmare.

FamiliesShareGerms · 23/03/2014 12:57

Whole school closed. Similar thoughts about braving some sights while relatively quiet...

ChocolateSnowflakes · 23/03/2014 12:58

North London. DDs primary is closed as is her cousin's secondary.
