If level 2b is the level expected at the end of year 2 what level should a child be working at now?

Just wondering what level would a year 2 child be working now to get a level 2b at the end of year 2?

If a child is making linear progress, then in KS1 you would expect one sublevel a term, so about 2c now, to be 2b in final term.

If your child is currently below a level 2 you need to be concerned and you need to be talking to school.
