I'm looking for state primary school advise of Woolwich SE18 or private school

I'm looking at ofsted reports too, but would love to here some recommendations from personal experience's. so any with a good balance of community, academic and sport would be great.
For the private school near, how much roughly spend per year? many thanks with hope someone can offer some suggestions

Christ church shooters hill is SE18. Better start going to church though or move next door if you want to send your dc there. Lovely school though - feels quite rural because of location.

Houses opposite, craigholm, red lion place, top of constitution rise are all close to the school. But as it's usually top of the league tables in the Greenwich LEA I don't know how small the catchment is these days . There are 30 places in reception and the school website describes the admissions criteria. Church families get priority for 21 places and local families get priority for 9. But siblings are top of the list. Best to contact the LEA of you want to find out what the catchment has been in previous years.

Herrington in Charlton is outstanding as is Invictain Blackheath standard. Private school would be about £14k per year

Heronsgate in West Thamesmead is a very good school - Outstanding last I checked with excellent SATS results. We've moved away now but DC1 was there for just over a year. She's a very bright girl and they kept her suitably challenged.

It's three form entry so a slightly bigger catchment than most. West Thamesmead is also one of the nicer places to live in the area too.
