Heard a very interesting interview with him on Radio 5 this morning with Nicky Campbell. He didn't seem particularly controversial to me.

He said that he doesn't think children under 14 should play contact sports like rugby because of the risk of damaging brain development.

The consequences of brain injury are massive and further reaching than you'd imagine too. Sufferers are massively over represented in the prison population.
