Hi today my dd came home from school to tell me that she was playing the Grinch in the Xmas play. I was so happy as she isn't one of the kids who is usually chosen for anything. Anyway just to really check - I said ''that's great how many Grinches are there,'' thinking maybe there were another 20 and the school had a new take on the story. She looked surprised and said - 'there is only one of course.' 'Brilliant' I said 'and that's you'. 'Yes mummy, Miss said put your hand up if you want to be the Grinch and I was the only one who put my hand up
