In our case (DD has to move next year) the Infant school is giving all Year 2 parents the form, already filled out, and we have to return it signed.

The deadline is 7th Feb 2014 for the letter to go out, 14th Feb for returning the letter and 21st Feb for getting the admission letter.

This is only for the linked Junior. If we would transfer DD to another Junior school we would have to go the usual in-year admission which is no different from any other school transfer.

It is normally straight forward. But your local council should have the appropriate procedure on their website.

Forget my message. I didn't read properly, I thought you meant Apply not Appeal.
