Big problem in last days of Y5 - speak to teacher or wait til next year?

There is a girl in DD's class who has recently taken a dislike to DD. They found out their new classes today and there was a bit of upset over it and this girl apparently went up to DD today and whispered to her "I'm going to be REALLY horrible to you" and gave her a threatening look. Normally I would be in to see the teacher straightaway but this girl won't be in DD's class next year and as we only have a few days of school left, should I just forget about it for now and speak to DD's new teacher if it continues next year?

Personally I would leave it for now, but go in at the first hint of trouble next term.

I would be tempted to whisper in the girls ear that if she does anything to your daughter then you would deal with her! Sorry not the best advice but would prob work!

i would go in and have a brief word with her current teacher to flag it up (and to support your daughter)

Mention it to staff. at least they will be aware and your Dd won't need to worry about it all summer

wheresthebeach · 18/07/2013 16:31

I'd mention it so they are aware. Hopefully the summer break will mean its all forgotten by sept

Elibean · 18/07/2013 16:43

I'd mention it, then mention it again at the start of next term. Doesn't hurt for teachers to be aware.

Thanks all. Will mention it to her current teacher tomorrow.
