Is there anyone higher than the head that i can tell about a fantastic teacher?

To cut a long story short, ds has had a bad year personally. Going through adhd/asd diagnosis and serious anxiety. His teacher has been the most amazing person and a day has not gone by where she hasn't helped in healing his anxiety. She is also fantastic outside of school, we live in a small village and she will often come to the park with the kids after school and is always available for a chat if needed (i only impose during school hours!)
I just want someone to know how fab she really is. I've got a letter for the head and wondered if there is anyone higher up i could contact? She has taught at the school for nearly 30 years and i think a bit of recognition is truly deserved.

There are National Teaching Awards - google it. And it is lovely that you want to do this. :-)

You just address it to the Chair of Governors and send it to the school address.
