Anyone entered their DS for WUS 7+ or 8+ whilst at Hill House? Does HH not support this?

I am interested in sending DS to HH from 4. If he is bright enough, I would like for him to try WUS at 7+. I got the impression from the website that they do not support/ won't actively prepare for entrance elsewhere until common entrance? Am I wrong? Can I still enter him at 7+? Has anyone been through similar?

Hi sh77. If you want your DS to sit the 7+ I would send him somewhere that is geared up for this as you will get no support from a school that wants you to stay to 13+. If you are considering HH you must be close enough to Cameron House, Eaton House Belgravia, Garden House and possibly Wetherby all of which do the 7+. My advice would be to go for one of those even though there is nothing to stop you entering him from a school that does not prepare him. HTH.

Thanks milkshake. V helpful advice. Apart from Wetherby (where there is v little chance of getting a place as we did not register at birth), are all the schools you mentioned selective?

eeek! Don't know. We didn't apply to them as we are not in that area. I'd ring each up quickly, especially if it's for September.
