Hi

I am a single parent, I work full time and travel 30 miles to work and back every day to Glasgow. I drop my daughter off with the childminder who takes her to school and then I pick her up at 5 from the childminder. I am considering moving back to Glasgow, and I need to consider a primary school for my daughter. Financially I can't move to the most popular catchment areas, but I also need to consider a good after school care and possibly breakfast club. I think my daughter would benefit greatly from me being closer to her school with the possibility of being able to take her to school and spending more time with her. I'm really not sure where to start in terms of contacting schools? I am looking at southside, shawlands area and westend (cheaper property end!) If anyone has any advice that would be fab.

Thanks :)
