Anyone got any idea what children did at GHS 4+ assessments this week?

My DD sat her individual 4+ assessment at GHS this week. I have no idea what she did other than do an "easy peasy" jigsaw, play a counting game with sheep and some colouring in. She also said the teachers were nice, which is a plus! Did anyone else get any more information out of their child?

My DD also sat her GHS assessment last week. I'm so nervous. When do they write to us? I guess some will reject their offers (in favor of other schools) so is there then a second round? Thanks. Jigsawmadness - I also got very little out of my daughter

They said to us that they would write to us in 2 weeks. I wouldn't expect that there would be a second round. Rather, I would think some girls will be put on a waiting list and then offered a place as and when places are rejected by the first choice girls. Good luck! Are you going for Tormead as well?

Don't worry we haven't heard anything either. I'll let you know when I do.

Hi there. We received a pack from GHS in todays post and its good news. We have until Mon 10th Dec to accept. I can tell from the envelope it was posted yesterday. We were told by Tormead that they will be calling with offers on Monday/Tuesday. Im keeping my fingers crossed for everyone for both schools

Since everyone I know who has heard has got a place and I haven't heard, I am assuming that we have been unsuccessful and they posted the packs of people who got in yesterday and probably will send out the unsuccessful letters at a later date. Fingers crossed for Tormead instead! Hopefully a lot of people who get Tormead will also have got GHS will accept GHS and not Tormead so if we don't get in to Tormead either then we may have a chance at a reserve list place. Oh well....
