Can any one advise please? It will be due to an unexpected job relocation, so needs to be nurturing as the children do not want to move schools Sad

We looked at Marlow a year or two ago and have several friends who have moved there and are delighted with their schools and the area in general. It also has very good senior schools. In Marlow, Spinfield seems to be the popular choice, along with Frieth school in a nearby village. Fox's Piece was the one to avoid, from the hearsay that reached me. I also know a very happy family at Danesfield school. Though as with all great schools in the SE commuter belt - the good ones are always oversubscribed.

Good luck.

Thank you Washed up.

I called Spinfield and they are full in our year groups Sad. Frieth has a 'satisfactory' rating which worries me a bit. About to search Danesfield now ...

If you are still looking for schools around marlow, you might be interested to know that Frieth has just had another ofsted report which found it had improved significantly and is now 'good with outstanding features' - might make a difference to your view?

I know this is a little late, but just in case anyone is in a similar position and clicks on this thread, just wanted to say that Foxes Piece School's lastest Ofsted report was good with outstanding features too :-)
Two of my children attend FP and a third left through natural progression to go to Great Marlow. I have no idea why anyone would say this is a school to avoid? It's a nurturing school which really shows in the children. It has a lovely village school feel about it, which is one of the reasons why I chose to send my children here (I had places offered at other schools that were deemed to be better). My children are working above the national expectations and are really happy here.
Don't go on hearsay, take a look for yourself!
