Going to introduce the knife to meal times, but what else do I need to work in the next few weeks?

And don't forget the child you pick to be at the front of the line and the one you pick to be at the back (and tick it off on the list) or they all squabble and argue to be first/last - sigh!

Just when you get last years lot 'trained' they skip off to Y1 and you get to start all over again! :)

I work through the register so they all get a turn and I don't have weekly helpers

As a reception teacher I was always overjoyed if they could wipe their own nose and bum and recognise the coat they wore to school ... I'm easily pleased

The simple things eh mrz?

I can work on the rest if they can do those things OhNoMyFoot, but wiping 30 bums, 30 noses multiple times and trying to ensure each child has their own coat and not one that took their fancy can take up a lot of time.

In fact almost all day!
