Where to buy name tags for school from the high street?

Three of my children are back at school on Wednesday and I don't have name tags. I have a pen marker so was hoping to buy blank name tags somewhere and just write their names on them.

Big issue is, they go back on Wednesday so I only have tomorrow to locate a shop that sells these.

Has anyone come across blank tags I can purchase in a shop? Thanks.

you could write their name on the labels of the clothes with a laundry marker pen and order name labels to iron/sew on at a later date

I think I've seen them in pound shops before now.

Might have to do that vodka. Was hoping for name labels though as dd3 is only going into p1 and the maker isn't that visible on her blazer and school cardi's. Which she is likely to take off and have to find again.

Might have to use a bit of paper and sellotape on her stuff until labels come through.

This will teach me to be more organised, though doubt it as I have only ever been organised with the name labels one year and have had kids at school for 7 years now!!

I will make sure I get enough to do the next few years.

do you have a schoolwear shop near you? - they sometimes have blank ones. Maybe Markies do them too. My 2 are going into P2 and P5 so I still have leftovers from previous years

I think Asda do them. On the little stand of useful things like suitcase padlocks and sewing kits etc. They come in a roll and you just cut one off and iron it on. Think they come with a pen too but are relatively cheap.

Thanks for the ideas everyone. I will try Asda tomorrow afternoon, and if no joy then poundland. I can't think of any schoolwear shops near me.

Our local department store prints them while you wait!

Sainsburys. BOGOF at the moment!

They come with the iron-on labels and an indelible pen in the pack.

Yes, I just saw some in Sainsbury's - with all the back-to-school stationery stuff.

Dry cleaners shops?

Bumped into a Mum whose kids go to same school this morning and she toldl me our local uniform shop (which is quite nearBlush ) sells them. So I got them there.

Thanks so much everyone who took the time to reply. Hopefully my kids will have nothing cluttering up lost property this year!!
