Middle schools in Wimborne Allenbourn and St Michael's both feed to QE. Mine did well at Allenbourn and QE.

I think with children the age yours are you need to accept that things might have totally changed in relation to Upper Schools by the time they are that age eg. Ferndown had a bad reputation but really turning round now and was oversubscribed last year for first time ever, Corfe Hills is getting a new Head so hard to know how that will go. QE doing OK but a few unhappy parents around - think the new building has taken it's toll but will do well in the next few years.

Middle schools, Lockyers has a new Head and looks set to do well in a few years, I've heard Broadstone Middle has just gone into Special Measures after last Ofsted (not sure if true) whereas was pretty highly regarded ,Allenbourne just had another outstanding Ofsted, think St Michaels was also inspected last week by the sound of it so report will be published soon if is the case.

For 1st schools have a look at Parley First as they have an excellent new Head and any school with him will do well, st James at Gaunts Common very good, Colehill & Hayeswood worth a look and I think Wimborne first will do well in next few years after an unsettled few years.
